so... she thinks she can dance?

i'd like to relay a textversation my sister Jessica and I had the other day which, i found extremely diverting.

Jessica: Did you like how they called Katie Holmes walking around a stage "dancing?"

Me: Ha! What's also laughable was her saying she 'loves to sing and dance.' AND that she was paid to do it!

Jessica: If that's dancing, then I dance around my house all day long.

Me: Whew! You must get tired. Do you also lip sing?

Jessica: You know it. What do you think Judy Garland's son thought? He had a pained look on his face. He was probably like, "Uh, what the h[eck] was that?"

Me: They probably paid him to be there too.

Jessica: I wonder if he donated his proceeds as well? Maybe to the Save Liza fund.

my little summer project

whew! after two weddings, (two more plus a funeral makes a movie, right?) i can officially exhale. and i wasn't even the bride! anyway, here is why i've been too busy to blog:

there was also a row of buttons down the back which hadn't been sewn on yet. and don't worry about the boobies, julie filled it out much better than my dress form. i will surely post pics of both weddings asap. :)

baby's first mullet

admitting you have a problem is the first step.

he's nearly 18 months old and so i took a deep breath,

and got out the scissors...

i'm really going to miss those curly tendrils.

i pray they come back, preferrably all over.

{don't anybody say anything about Parker's hair. it's not a mullet. and besides,

i have decided to cut it for the summer. but it's coming back this fall!}
