Happy Happyween

where the heck did that month go? (so much for posting top tens, huh? as always, my bark is worse than my bite.) Well it's been madness I tell you. With family pictures, missionary homecomings, primary programs, fall festivities, babies being born and Halloween, I'm wondering whether to clean my pig sty of a house, or have a mental break down.
I was crazy busy sewing for everyone else, but I managed to eek out a few costumes for the boys at the last minute. don't laugh. Can you tell who they are?
Nanna and Gramps came over Halloween night to help
eat candy - uh, trick-or-treat.
The boys sure love when they come around!

And on Oct. 27:
Chloe Marie Foit was born!
Hooray!! She is soooo adorable!
Do you like her beanie? I'm dressing her already.
Oh what fun it will be having a niece!

Oh yeah.
And this guy is getting married. I know what you're thinking:
What?! They've legalized marriage between aliens and humans in Utah?
It's hard to believe myself, but he actually is human. And so is the girl he's convinced to marry him. and what's more is, she's really cute!
So congrats to Matt,
condolences to Andrea

went up the canyon

for lunch the other day. To do a quick photo shoot for my new fall stuff.

{a random outlet imbedded in some rock. wondered if it works}

{the caravan}

{awed by the views}

{the views}

{mellow yellow}

{found treasure}

{went exploring off the beaten path}

{don't let him fool you, he actually does like this hat}

{see?}

{just a sneak peek. the hat will be available Oct. 1. You can see the other stuff at my other blog. What? You still aren't reading my other blog? Well I think my two readers will tell you: you're missing out. Do yourself a favor and subscribe and link it too, of course ;) I post free patterns and projects and discounts. Some stuff even the most sewing-challenged can do!}

Corn Belly's

We've started this tradition that I really love of going to Thanksgiving Point to Corn Belly's.
(I think they spell it 'Corn Bellies' though, which is grammatically incorrect because 'Corn Belly' is a character and it's his place. 'Corn Bellies' refers to multiple bellies.)
Any who, there are so many fun things to do! Tons of kids activities and it's practically all inclusive. Unfortunately, this year it was so bleeding cold we couldn't stay for too long.Caden was happy as a clam as long as he had something to chew on. This was his first year at the Belly's because last year he was a fish in the amniotic sea.
Parker was having way too much fun. He couldn't be bothered for a picture.
My cutie pie nephew Korbin enjoying a ride in the corn wagon. Just look at those blue eyes!
And that blond hair? It's enough to make Hitler drool!
My goofball baby brother Jared. Definitely a favorite with Parker.
We ended the evening with a hay ride. That has been my favorite part both years. They have a few cheesy 'scary' elements to it though. Like a hydraulic snake coming out of the corn stalks and hovering over us. Parker covered his eyes most of the time after that. It was really cute!
*Those of you who attended my party last night, would you mind e-mailing me any pics you took? Mine are kind of minimal and I want to blog the occasion properly.*(carolyngeddes@gmail.com)

update quickie

Just when we thought he couldn't get cuter, Caden got his first tooth. The second one is on it's way. He had his 9 month checkup on Monday. He is in the 97th percentile for height. I guess we are just breeding our own tribe of Amazons! Oh wait- super models.
We carved pumpkins on Wednesday. Parker was so grossed out by the guts but he loved stabbing the pumpkins randomly

oooh! SPOOKY

Parker is a potty-training machine! He gets to put a sticker on the chart every time he goes. And I'm happy to announce we haven't had a dookie on the floor in a very long time!
